Account Executive

At Division 5, we’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives on building relationships, understanding client challenges, and connecting them with the right security solutions.

 

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our Business Development team, you’ll lead and contribute to a range of client-facing activities, including:

  • Identify, build, and manage a pipeline of opportunities for Division 5, and further identify strategic partnerships that can be leveraged.

  • Attend industry events, meetups, and conferences on behalf of Division 5.

  • Work with the CRM system to maintain client relationships and ensure data hygiene.

  • Translate technically based concepts into business context, and vice-versa.

  • Strategically partner with Division 5 clients, understanding their business needs and providing appropriate technical solutions to address those needs.

  • Ensure work items are conducted ethically, fairly, and within legal and contractual requirements.

  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture through internal collaboration

  • Proactively pursue and stay informed about industry trends to enhance security response and client service.

 

You’ll have the opportunity to work on varied client engagements, collaborate with talented peers across our three service streams, and influence how we grow our presence in the Australian cyber security market.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking experienced professionals who bring both commercial acumen and genuine curiosity about cyber security. Ideally, you have:

  • Proven hands-on experience in B2B sales, ideally within professional services, technology, or security
  • A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to a business audience
  • A track record of building pipeline and closing new business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Confidence in managing client relationships independently and identifying opportunities for growth

GRC Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant (GRC) to join our Strategy team. You’ll work with our team and clients to deliver governance, risk, and compliance engagements including:

  • ISO 27001 assessments and ISMS activities
  • Essential Eight assessments
  • Cyber security risk assessments
  • Security policies, strategies, and roadmaps
  • Third-party risk assessments
  • Tabletop exercises and workshops
  • Governance and compliance reviews

You’ll work directly with clients, facilitate workshops, review evidence, contribute to reports and help organisations improve their security posture.

About You

You may come from a cyber security, risk, compliance, audit, consulting or technology background.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with people and clients
  • Communicates well both verbally and in writing
  • Can analyse information and solve problems
  • Is comfortable facilitating discussions and workshops
  • Has an interest in cyber security governance, risk, and compliance
  • Wants to continue building a career in cyber security consulting

Experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, Essential Eight, NIST CSF or the ISM will be highly regarded

Offensive Security Specialist

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our Offensive Security team, you’ll lead and contribute to a range of security assurance activities, including:

  • Penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across applications, networks, and systems
  • Assist Red teaming and advanced scenario-based engagements
  • Scoping and running client engagements end-to-end, including reporting and presenting findings
  • Participating in peer reviews and helping refine methodologies to stay ahead of emerging threats

You’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with talented peers, and influence how we deliver offensive security services.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking experienced professionals who bring both technical depth and consulting capability. Ideally, you have:

  • Proven hands-on experience with offensive security tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, BloodHound)
  • Proficiency in at least one specialty area (e.g., web applications, mobile, infrastructure)
  • A track record of improving processes, methodologies, or tooling

  • Weeks 9-12: Operational upskilling and exposure – work directly with a senior member of the Division 5 assurance team, assisting on their engagements and learning the ropes of our delivery process.
  • Weeks 13-26: Supervised pentesting – assist and conduct penetration testing engagements under the guidance of senior staff, who are there to support and mentor you throughout the process.
  • Week 27: Graduate as an Associate Offensive Security Specialist.

What We’re Looking For

We’re after curious, driven individuals who love solving complex problems and thinking like an attacker. Ideally, you have:

  • Hands-on experience with offensive security tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, BloodHound)
  • Participated in Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions or similar challenges
  • Built or developed applications—whether at work or in your own time
  • A self-starter mindset and a passion for continuous learning

  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline security clearance
